We are seeking a detail-oriented, thorough, and organized Procurement Specialist to oversee supplier relationships, on-time delivery (OTD), quality paperwork, certification issues, and expediting and follow up for our high valued customers. In this position, you will play a key role in ensuring high-quality and timely delivery happens for our highly valued customers. You will follow procurement procedures, maintain an updated list of current and incoming Purchase orders, and be responsible for building and maintaining relationships with the suppliers.
ABOUT THE JOB
Key Responsibilities:1. Supplier Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our suppliers. Regularly communicate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Negotiating contracts where necessary.2. On-Time Delivery (OTD): Monitor and manage the OTD performance of suppliers. Work closely with suppliers to ensure they meet delivery deadlines.3. Certification Issues: Handle any issues related to supplier certifications. This includes ensuring suppliers have necessary certifications and resolving any certification-related problems.4. Expediting/Follow up: Oversee the shipment of products from the supplier to ensure timely delivery. Expedite orders when necessary.
