USAF 412 Test Wing, Test Management Directorate

A major portion of the trainee’s experience will be in the actual performance of the duties of a project manager. During the 15- 20 week training program, the trainee will have the opportunity to participate in several types of activities available at multiple organizations at Edwards AFB and will get to experience much of the acquisition and test life cycle, including acquisition of services in support of the AFTC. This will typically be accomplished through rotations at multiple Combined Test Forces.

ABOUT THE JOB

The primary purpose of this position is to serve as a Test Project Manager (PM) directing or supporting the test activities of DoD funded acquisition, Foreign Military Sales (FMS), and commercial test efforts.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Directing or supporting the test activities of DoD funded acquisition
• Directing or supporting the test activities of Foreign Military Sales (FMS)
• Directing or supporting commercial test efforts
• Participate in several types of activities available at multiple organizations at Edwards AFB
• Experience much of the acquisition and test life cycle, including acquisition of services in support of the AFTC

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in the actual performance of the duties of a project manager
• Participation in a 15-20 week training program
