This internship provides instruction on how book publishing production teams work interdepartmentally with design professionals and helps train prospective book graphic designers on how to create high-quality book covers, interior layouts, and digital marketing collateral, including author websites.
Graphic designers who work in book production can create a variety of design-related deliverables including high-quality book covers and interior layouts based on market and genre research and design principles, as well as digital marketing collateral associated with book and author brands, and author websites.
Candidates will demonstrate knowledge of and interest in the book publishing industry. They will preferably know InDesign, Illustrator, Acrobat Pro, and be proficient in the Office suite.

Candidates may choose to come in to Seattle HQ though most of team works remotely, including the designers responsible for most of the training in the program.
