This SkillBridge internship provides an immersive, hands-on training program in Underground Infrastructure Diagnostics. As a CCTV Operator intern, you will transition your military technical aptitude to the civil engineering and wastewater management industries. The program focuses on the deployment of advanced robotic crawler systems and high-definition imaging technology to conduct non-destructive inspections of municipal and industrial pipeline networks. You will gain proficiency in industry-standard condition assessment protocols and data management software used to protect public health and environmental safety.
Robotic Deployment: Setup, calibrate, and operate remotely controlled CCTV "crawlers" and push-camera systems to navigate complex underground pipe networks.Infrastructure Analysis: Identify and document structural defects, root intrusions, blockages, and lateral connections using real-time video feeds.Technical Troubleshooting: Perform field maintenance and minor repairs on robotic camera units, specialized cables, and mobile control center equipment.Safety & Compliance: Manage job site safety, including traffic control and adherence to OSHA Confined Space Entry protocols.
