ABOUT THE JOB
The Military Career Transition Program Associate will manage a project that adds value to the business in Arizona and participate in learning and development opportunities to potentially lead to a full-time role. Lead a short term (3-6 month) project that has positive impact/ ROI for the business in Arizona Participate in the development of a project plan and lead team members across functions through the development and implementation of project outcomes Collaborate with project sponsor, manager, and team members to develop a strategy that could be implemented to increase efficiency, save cost and/or reduce waste while ensuring compliance within the planning, logistics, operations management, and Heath, Safety and Environmental (HSE) programs Learn to work with and adapt to the culture of the team Develop ability to influence and manage change across a diverse workforce Learn corn production workflows and the roles of Bayer Marana team members by engaging current individuals in these roles into the project and proactively building relationships and networks with these team members. Identify process improvement opportunities and share feedback with team members to recommend or create future projects Comply with all safety, regulatory and Bayer policiesREQUIRED 4-Year Degree from an accredited college or university, or non- degreed with minimum of 2 years experience Computer skills to include working knowledge of Excel, Word, Outlook Project and change management skills Demonstrated leadership & communication skills Demonstrated decision-making ability & problem-solving skills Valid driver’s license Candidates must have their own transportation to and from the worksitePREFERRED Experience working in Arizona If interested please email heroes@bayer.com with interest.
