Fayetteville Technical Community College Transition Tech Solar Photovoltaic Technology
This training program prepares students to enter the field of commercial and residential solar energy generation as System Installer Apprentices. Students will earn certifications in OSHA safety, NCCER Core, NCCER Solar Module 1, and CPR, as well as training in NCCER Heavy Equipment Operation Module 1, Flagger Training, and hands-on experience at our Solar Farm.
ABOUT THE JOB
A Solar System Installer Apprentice assists experienced installers with the installation, maintenance, and repair of solar panel systems, focusing on hands-on learning and practical skills development under the guidance of a mentor. They will learn to assemble, install, and maintain solar panels on various structures, including roofs, ground mounts, and commercial buildings.
RESPONSIBILITIES
