Our Internship Program is open to all Service members and is specifically designed to help transitioning Service members gain in-depth, on-the-job training of the healthcare supply chain industry at Sentara Health. This opportunity is based in Hampton Roads, Virginia and multiple positions are available.

Our Supply Chain - Courier Internship offers the chance to travel across Hampton Roads, supporting multiple Sentara facilities by delivering essential items like medications, lab specimens, equipment, and more. You’ll gain behind-the-scenes experience in healthcare logistics—perfect for anyone curious about operations, supply chain, or clinical support roles. What You’ll Do: Safely operate and maintain a company vehicle Deliver a wide range of items between facilities Track barcoded items, lab specimens, and reports Keep vehicle logs and submit maintenance requests Shift Info: We’re a 24/7 operation. Most routes are second shift, but day and third shift training opportunities are available. Ideal Candidates Are: -Reliable and detail-oriented -Comfortable driving across locations -Able to lift and carry packages safely -Interested in healthcare logistics and operations
