Lilly works with service members from all branches of the military who are transitioning out of the service. Service members can participate in SkillBridge at Lilly from 90-180 days before their ETS date. Lilly's SkillBridge Program Manager works directly with service members to understand their unique background, skill sets, and area(s) of interest. From there, service members are matched with a job training internship with the ability to potentially secure employment at Lilly afterwards. Service members from all areas of experience are encouraged to apply, as opportunities within each department are available at Lilly.

Eli Lilly and Company's main departments include operations (including Manufacturing, machine operation, maintenance), Engineering, Information Technology, Project Management, and Marketing. Service members have the potential to be hired in any of the aforementioned departments at the close of their SkillBridge participation. Lilly's SkillBridge program manager works with service members during the SkillBridge program to proactively identify and interview for career opportunities if they choose.
