The Facilities Engineer - Electrical SkillBridge program provides transitioning service members with technical training and exposure to facility infrastructure and electrical engineering practices within the manufacturing environment. Participants will develop the knowledge and skills to support electrical distribution systems, maintenance programs, and facility operations while ensuring compliance with applicable codes and standards. This program is designed to build foundational capability in system analysis, preventative and predictive maintenance, and project coordination.
This position supports the safe, reliable, and cost-effective operation of manufacturing facility infrastructure and electrical systems. Reporting to the facilities manager, this role coordinates facility operations, leads preventative and predictive maintenance development, supports infrastructure projects, and performs hands-on troubleshooting and electrical system analysis. The position ensures compliance with applicable electrical codes and safety standards while optimizing facility performance and resource allocation. BS in Electrical Engineering from an accredited institutionTwo (2) years’ experience in facilities engineering in a manufacturing facilityExperience in Computer-Aided Drafting (CAD)Proficiency in interpretation and implementation of Codes, Standards, and Regulations, NEC
