This Manager Security Intelligence is responsible for conducting, overseeing, and implementing intelligence production for Madison Square Garden with a special capability to lead an intelligence team in support of Madison Square Garden’s venue/event operations and investigative activities.  The Manager will report to the Director of Intelligence and liaise extensively with Security Operations Centers, venue personnel, and other members of the Threat Management Group.  This role will contribute to the Threat Management Group’s Security Intelligence Department in support of general analytical functions while also guiding the team in providing intelligence support for events, directly supporting security investigations, and leading intelligence-driven analytic production. 

ABOUT THE JOB

Work with Threat Management Group leadership to establish proactive measures to ensure the security of MSG events and venues; participate in investigations of incidents and threats; review investigation reports; and make recommendations to mitigate security risks.  Support investigations using project management discipline and drive execution with detailed project plans.   Must be comfortable with working and leading in a fast-paced, priority-driven environment.  Effectively identify and analyze relevant risks and vulnerabilities; produce actionable products in a timely manner to inform enterprise-wide security operations.  Conduct research of open-source intelligence and social media platforms for known and potential threats capable of impacting our organization and events.  Monitor threats impacting MSG venues, events, and/or operations; and provide periodic and timely reporting.  Perform other general security duties as needed to support MSG security.  What do you need to succeed? A minimum of (4) years corporate, law enforcement, or government security experience; and five (3) in a corporate and/or government setting performing an intelligence or investigatory function.  The ideal candidate will have a strong open-source research skill and a high degree of technical and cyber knowledge.   Ability to manage multiple requests in support of complex investigations.  Must be a strategic, analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the capability to monitor and report on tactical and strategic threats to safety or operations.   Must have effective communication skills, including strong writing and editing skills.  The ability to communicate verbally and in writing to all levels of the organization, as well as externally to providers and partners, is essential.  Strict confidentiality, professionalism, dependability, and situational sensitivity is essential.  The ideal candidate must be highly flexible, stress tolerant, and motivated, with an ability to work independently as well as in a team setting.
