AZAK is seeking a highly motivated Field Service Representative (FSR) & Technician to serve as the technical and customer-facing ambassador for our modular, self-propelled electric mobility systems. This role uniquely blends hands-on field service, system training, and operational support with executive-level communication and customer engagement.AZAK designs and manufactures fully integrated, wheel-contained electric powertrains that redefine mobility for logistics and support platforms. As we scale our production and expand our factory operations, this position will play a critical role in supporting both product deployment and manufacturing growth. We are seeking a driven, detail-oriented professional who will take ownership of the mechanical and electrical manufacturing of our wheel systems while upholding the highest standards of quality, safety, and shop practices.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Field Service Representative - Technician to take ownership of the mechanical and electrical manufacturing of AZAK’s modular wheel systems. This role is hands-on and central to both development and production, supporting the build, integration, testing, and continuous improvement of our electric mobility hardware. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and is committed to safety, quality, and operational excellence.Key Responsibilities• Manufacture, assemble, and integrate AZAK hardware, including wire harnesses, circuit boards, battery systems, powertrain components, and mechanical assemblies• Perform troubleshooting, rework, inspection, and functional testing throughout development and production builds• Interpret, implement, and red-line assembly drawings, providing clear feedback and improvement recommendations to the engineering team• Track and report build status, production progress, and quality metrics• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment in accordance with shop safety standards• Assist in building and maintaining factory equipment and contributing to the development of efficient manufacturing workflows• Identify, document, and report non-conformances; support root-cause analysis and track corrective actions to resolution• Collaborate cross-functionally to help define and implement work instructions, inventory systems, quality controls, and safety standardsRequired Qualifications• Demonstrated ability to work on both mechanical and electrical systems• Experience working safely with high-power electrical systems• Ability to adapt in a dynamic, fast-changing production environment• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, growth-oriented mindset• Ability to safely operate machining, fabrication, and assembly toolsPreferred Qualifications• Knowledge of safe lithium battery handling and assembly practices• Experience in manufacturing, prototyping, or production environments for EVs, robotics, or electromechanical systems• Familiarity with technical drawings, build documentation, and quality systemsWork Environment• Hands-on, factory-floor role• In person in Denver, CO • Involves working with electrical systems, mechanical components, batteries, and production equipment• Requires adherence to safety, quality, and process standards
