Maintenance
The Maintenance Department at M Coach USA, Inc. is responsible for ensuring the safety, reliability, and compliance of the company’s motorcoach fleet. This team performs routine inspections, preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines, electrical systems, brakes, HVAC units, and drivetrains.Working closely with Operations and Safety, the Maintenance Department follows all DOT and FMCSA regulations, maintains accurate service logs, and responds to roadside service calls and emergency repairs to minimize vehicle downtime. Technicians are trained and certified in industry-standard procedures and prioritize safety, performance, and passenger comfort.
ABOUT THE JOB
M Coach USA, Inc. is seeking a skilled and dependable Diesel Mechanic to join our Maintenance Team. The Diesel Mechanic will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on our fleet of commercial motorcoaches to ensure compliance with DOT and FMCSA standards. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, safety-conscious, and experienced in working with heavy-duty diesel vehicles.Key Responsibilities:Perform routine maintenance, safety inspections, and repairs on diesel buses and support vehiclesDiagnose and repair engine, transmission, electrical, suspension, brake, and HVAC systemsConduct DOT and FMCSA-compliant inspections and prepare required documentationUse diagnostic tools (manual and electronic) to identify and resolve mechanical issuesComplete work orders, maintenance logs, and parts inventory trackingRespond to on-the-road breakdowns and emergency repair calls as neededMaintain a clean, organized, and safe shop environmentCollaborate with dispatch and operations to ensure fleet availability and readinessAdhere to all OSHA safety standards and company policies
RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS
