As a Trades Intern at Brockway Mechanical & Roofing, you’ll receive hands-on experience in the mechanical trades — including HVAC, Plumbing, Roofing, and Sheet Metal. Interns will work directly on job sites alongside experienced professionals, learning essential trade skills, safety practices, and teamwork. This program prepares you for full-time career opportunities or trade school advancement.You will:• Assist with materials, tools, and basic installation tasks.• Participate in safety and technical training sessions.• Shadow experienced professionals in Plumbing, HVAC-R, Roofing, and Sheet Metal.• Learn workplace communication, organization, and problem-solving.• Gain exposure to different departments to explore career pathways.• Demonstrate professionalism, punctuality, and willingness to learn.• Follow all safety and PPE requirements at all times.Opportunities in Des Moines Iowa and Burlington, Iowa
