Aircraft Dispatcher/ReceptionistSchedule and dispatch in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration and TSA regulations all aircraft for flights associated with renters, students, photo flights, scenic flights and on-demand air charter. Provide aircraft landing pattern advisory information to incoming and outgoing aircraft, and complete general clerk, filing and administrative duties associated with a professional office environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
Dispatch and check in student renter, charter, scenic, photo and discovery airplane flights in accordance with company policies and procedures. Answer, manage and route multi-line phone, voicemail and paging systems. Scheduled ground instruction and flights associated with Charter, flight training, renter pilots, scenic and photo flights. Stock vending machines, navigational charts, showcases, brochures, flight school and renter pilot printed materials and handouts; prepare renter and student enrollment folders. Data entry, i.e. new student/renter enrollment
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Schedule and dispatch aircraft in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration and TSA regulations for various flight types including renters, students, photo flights, scenic flights, and on-demand air charter.
- Provide aircraft landing pattern advisory information to incoming and outgoing aircraft.
- Complete general clerk, filing, and administrative duties in a professional office environment.
- Dispatch and check in for student renter, charter, scenic, photo, and discovery airplane flights in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Manage and route multi-line phone, voicemail, and paging systems.
- Schedule ground instruction and flights for various services such as Charter, flight training, renter pilots, scenic, and photo flights.
- Stock vending machines, navigational charts, showcases, brochures, and flight school materials; prepare renter and student enrollment folders.
- Perform data entry for new student/renter enrollment.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Minimum 12 months' work experience, with 6 months performed in a professional office environment.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Aviation knowledge helpful.
- Dispatching skill desired.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- 2-year degree or equivalent preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Must have minimum FAA Certified Flight Instructor- Instrument certificate.

The Flight School team plays a critical role in ensuring that our students are successful in meeting their goals in a timely manner, from beginning flight instruction through completion of their Practical Test and certification.Working as a flight instructor is excellent experience in the commercial aviation industry and is useful for time-building toward an ATP rating, which is necessary for employment in the commercial airline industry.
