DOT Compliance/Safety Management

This internship opportunity is in Palmer, Alaska. Intern participants must be able to pass a background check and a drug test, lift 50 pounds, stand for long periods of time, work with a diverse group of individuals, appreciate the benefits of performing work safely, and enjoy the detail-oriented work of compliance.

ABOUT THE JOB

Interns will shadow the DOT Compliance Manager and Lead Safety Instructor at NIT to learn safety best practice and federal and state compliance regulations.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Shadow the DOT Compliance Manager and Lead Safety Instructor at NIT
• Learn safety best practices
• Understand federal and state compliance regulations

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to pass a background check
• Ability to pass a drug test
• Ability to lift 50 pounds
