Firefighter/EMT Firefighter/EMT National Certification
Jasper County Fire and Emergency Services is looking for personnel who are interested in a Firefighting Career along with becoming certified as an EMT. Personnel will either be trained in house or at an 8 week recruit school type course to learn basic firefighting skills and also will receive training in the emergency medical field. Personnel will be assigned to one of 3 shifts working 48 hours on and 96 Hours off.
ABOUT THE JOB
Candidate shall respond to all calls for emergencies for an all hazards department. These types of calls will be EMS, Hazardous Materials, Fires, Public Assistance, Aircraft Incidents, Motor Vehicle Accidents, and other technical rescues. Candidate will work on the 48/96 hour work schedule.

QUALIFICATIONS
