ABOUT THE JOB

A Direct Digital Control (DDC) Technician plays a crucial role in the installation, programming, and maintenance of building automation systems. As part of our comprehensive training program, you will learn to create visually appealing and user-friendly graphics for building automation systems, ensuring seamless monitoring and control. You will gain expertise in programming the DDC systems, enabling efficient and precise control of various building components. Additionally, you will learn about networking principles to establish reliable communication between different system components. Through classroom and hands-on training, you will become proficient in setting up and thoroughly checking out the DDC systems, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency. RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Install, program, and maintain building automation systems.
  • Create visually appealing and user-friendly graphics for building automation systems.
  • Program DDC systems for efficient and precise control of various building components.
  • Learn about networking principles to establish reliable communication between different system components.
  • Set up and thoroughly check out DDC systems to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must arrive on time on days they are scheduled.
  • Must receive a passing score on graded assessments to evaluate understanding and proficiency.
  • Must be willing to accept feedback to identify areas for improvement and highlight strengths.
  • Must pass a background check and drug test.
  • Must be a licensed driver throughout the training program and after if offer of employment is extended.
