Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP)
The Biomedical Research Foundation (BRF) aims to leverage SkillBridge to hire transitioning service members into key job positions within the organization. The Business & Financial Analyst role will work in the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP), a division of BRF. This role is perfect for veterans in the venture capital, small business, and entrepreneurial fields. Additionally, SkillBridge helps BRF retain skilled labor and veterans in North Louisiana which fits into BRF's mission of diversifying and growing our region.
ABOUT THE JOB
THIS POSITION WILL SUPPORT BRF SENIOR LEADERSHIP AS PART OF THE ENTREPRENEURIAL ACCELERATOR PROGRAM (EAP), WHICH IS A COMPREHENSIVE PLAN TO SOLICIT AND EVALUATE INNOVATION, NEW STARTUP BUSINESSES, AND ENTREPRENEURS. THE CANDIDATE WILL BE REQUIRED TO PRODUCE STARTUP PLANNING, INCLUDING HANDS-ON PROJECT RESOURCE PLANNING, DEVELOPING COST/SCHEDULE BASELINES, AND DEVELOPING INVESTMENT TERMS AND STRUCTURE. THIS POSITION WOULD REQUIRE THE CANDIDATE TO PERFORM PRICE MODIFICATIONS TO EXISTING WORK AND SUPPORT PRICING FOR PROPOSAL FOR NEW WORK AND NEW CUSTOMERS.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Support BRF senior leadership as part of the Entrepreneurial Accelerator Program (EAP).
- Solicit and evaluate innovation, new startup businesses, and entrepreneurs.
- Produce startup planning, including hands-on project resource planning.
- Develop cost/schedule baselines.
- Develop investment terms and structure.
- Perform price modifications to existing work.
- Support pricing for proposal for new work and new customers.
