ABOUT THE JOB

As a Services Account Manager SkillBridge Intern, you will shadow and train with Trane’s best in class Commercial HVAC team. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in building efficiency and sustainability through our Service offerings. In this role, you are primarily responsible for delivering on our business strategy by developing long-term customer relationships with building owners and strengthening our existing customer base with a focus on providing customers a total solution for the most energy efficient buildings. You will bring your passion for solving problems, creating customer value, and building relationships to make an impact. Account Managers sell, renew, and expand service agreements to both new and existing customers through a consultative and strategic approach to pursue new business and grow existing account relationships. You will learn to effectively target and identify opportunities, facilitate discovery, and qualify opportunities early in the buying and selling process. You will lead customer conversations with business-level insights to establish value and create demand while actively listening to identify concerns. You will act as a facilitator to help the customer buy, including developing project business cases, and financial proforma, and validating business outcomes. You will gather and validate preliminary information, and perform facility walk-throughs, construction plan review,s or other requirements.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Shadow and train with Trane’s Commercial HVAC team.
  • Develop long-term customer relationships and strengthen existing customer base.
  • Sell, renew, and expand service agreements to new and existing customers.
  • Facilitate discovery and qualify opportunities early in the buying and selling process.
  • Lead customer conversations with business-level insights to establish value and create demand.
  • Act as a facilitator to help the customer buy, including developing project business cases and financial proforma, and validating business outcomes.
  • Gather and validate preliminary information, perform facility walk-throughs, and review construction plans.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Priority given to transitioning service members with skills in technical systems, project leadership, and communication/presentation.
  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Qualifications align with Senior Staff Non-Commissioned Officers, Junior Military Officers, and Senior Military Officers.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Priority will be given to transitioning service members with transferrable skills and experience as it pertains to technical systems, project leadership, and communication/presentation capabilities. Bachelor’s degree required. Account Manager qualifications typically align with Senior Staff Non-Commissioned Officers, Junior Military Officers, and Senior Military Officers.
