HUMC EMS EMT

This program will prepare EMTs with National Registry certification for EMT licensure in New Jersey. Service members will perform the tasks of 9-1-1 response and interfacility transportation at the basic life support level of care.

ABOUT THE JOB

HMH EMTs provide basic life support care to patients who request emergency services through 9-1-1, and medical transportation services, including discharge from healthcare facilities and transfer between healthcare facilities.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Provide basic life support care to patients who request emergency services through 9-1-1
• Provide medical transportation services, including discharge from healthcare facilities and transfer between healthcare facilities
• Perform tasks of 9-1-1 response and interfacility transportation at the basic life support level of care

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a National Registry EMT certification
