Classic Collision offers a 15-week, hands-on pre-apprenticeship program designed to train and prepare transitioning service members for eligibility in our U.S. Department of Labor–approved collision technician apprenticeship program. This comprehensive program combines online coursework with live, hands-on collision repair experience. Participants will learn how a production-style collision center operates, how to safely and efficiently disassemble damaged vehicles, how to identify hidden or previously missed damage, and how to properly reassemble vehicles once repairs are complete.

Effectively work with Body Technicians to assist with the repair process• Remove upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window and seat operating equipment and trim to gain access to damaged area of vehicle if needed. • Store parts on carts or cover to eliminate potential damage • Assist Service Advisors in assessing damage to vehicles prior to repair • Comply with all safety rules, guidelines and standards • Perform other related duties as assigned including, but not limited to washing cars, cleaning the shop, assisting other teammates, etc. Complete assigned I-Car training Must have authorization from your branch/unit/command Must have a valid driver’s Ability to effectively communicate with others Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work orders Multi-tasking; adapts easily to fast-paced environmentService member qualifications:• Be within 180 days of your military release date. • Expect an Honorable Discharge• Be willing to submit to a background check and drug screening.Behavior/CompetenciesIntegrity -Respect, and accountability at every level and in every interactionCustomer Service-Provide the highest level of customer service while building customer satisfaction and retentionInnovation -Develops and displays innovative approaches and ideas to our businessTeamwork -Contributes to building a positive team spirit.
