The Construction Project Manager at Legacy Builders & Design supports the planning, permitting, and execution of residential and light commercial construction projects, with a primary focus on Accessory Dwelling Units (ADUs). During the SkillBridge program, the trainee functions as an Assistant Project Manager and progressively transitions toward independently managing projects under supervision.The trainee participates in the full project lifecycle, including client discovery, zoning and ADU feasibility reviews, design coordination, and permit preparation and tracking across multiple agencies. The role involves supporting construction scheduling, budgeting, subcontractor coordination, and pre-construction planning. During construction, the Project Manager assists with jobsite coordination, inspections, quality control, and schedule management across all major phases of work.The trainee also supports punch-list development, final inspections, certificate of occupancy preparation, and project closeout activities. Throughout the program, the participant develops technical, organizational, and communication skills necessary to manage ADU design-build projects and transition into an independent Construction Project Manager role upon completion of the 26-week training program.
