Welder Internship Program Port Manatee
As a Skillbridge Welding Intern here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for working on a team of welders and ensuring the quality and efficiency of welding operations. You will report directly to our Welding Supervisor, and you'll work out of our Port Manatee/Palmetto, FL location.In this role, you will have a significant impact on the success of our welding operations, ensuring that all welds meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner. You will also be responsible for developing your welding capabilities and techniques throughout your apprenticeship program.
ABOUT THE JOB
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES • Work on a team of welders and conduct welding operations • Ensure all welds meet quality standards and specifications • Learn and develop welding skills and techniques • Collaborate with other departments on welding activities • Maintain welding equipment and ensure proper safety procedures are followedYOU MUST HAVE • Knowledge of basic welding principles • Proven ability to effectively work on a team • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Capability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environmentWE VALUE • Technical certification in welding or a related field • Willingness to train and develop as a welder • Knowledge of welding standards and best practices • Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
