The Ice Cream Production & Food Manufacturing Operations training program provides transitioning Service Members with structured, hands-on experience in a regulated food production environment. Over a 26-week period, participants receive supervised training in food safety, sanitation, equipment operation, batch production, quality control, inventory management, and compliance documentation.The program is designed to translate military strengths such as discipline, teamwork, and procedural adherence into civilian manufacturing competencies. Participants progress from foundational safety and production knowledge to independently executing assigned production tasks under supervision, preparing them for entry-level to intermediate roles in food manufacturing and production operations.
The Ice Cream Production Worker supports daily manufacturing operations by preparing ice cream mixes, operating production equipment, packaging finished products, and maintaining strict food safety and sanitation standards. This role requires attention to detail, consistency, and the ability to follow established procedures in a fast-paced, team-based environment. The position involves standing for extended periods, lifting ingredients or product up to 50 pounds, and working in cold or refrigerated areas. Successful employees demonstrate reliability, accountability, and pride in producing a high-quality product.
