Cybersecurity Specialist

The program is designed to assist the company's Security Team. The Security Team is responsible for controls that are compliant with government regulations, industry standards and best practices. This internship position will provide the skills to assess information systems, develop remediation plans, implement solutions and recommend process improvements to information security program efforts. This role provides support our Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program and other system hardening efforts. Your contribution will streamline the efforts and efficiency to building a more secure and available set of systems.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the company's Security Team in compliance with government regulations, industry standards, and best practices.
• Assess information systems to develop remediation plans.
• Implement solutions and recommend process improvements to information security program efforts.
• Support the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) program.
• Contribute to system hardening efforts to enhance security and availability of systems.
