Role: Sales Development Representative / Account Executive — CybersecurityHost Employer: SecureTech (San Antonio, TX)What the Fellow Will Learn and Do:Fellows train inside a working sales motion focused on the cybersecurity buyer. The fellowship runs across three phases:Phase 1 — Foundation (Weeks 1–3) Sales fundamentals, cybersecurity market literacy, ICP definition, buyer roles, and the language of the work. Fellows learn how MSPs, MSSPs, channel partners, and end customers buy security services.Phase 2 — Motion (Weeks 4–8) Live outbound execution under coaching. Account research, multi-channel prospecting, discovery calls, objection handling, qualification frameworks, and CRM hygiene. Fellows operate inside HubSpot and a structured weekly pipeline review.Phase 3 — Ownership (Weeks 9–12) Fellows carry a named book of accounts, run their own qualified discovery calls, hand off opportunities to senior AEs, and present pipeline in weekly forecast reviews.
