Upon completion of approximately 320 supervised training hours, the SkillBridge Participant will demonstrate documented proficiency in core information technology support functions within a regulated operational environment. The SkillBridge Participant will demonstrate the ability to perform structured troubleshooting of hardware and software issues, execute workstation configuration procedures, manage user account administration tasks, and apply systematic problem-solving methodologies consistent with established technical support standards. The SkillBridge Participant will demonstrate working knowledge of cybersecurity compliance requirements, including enforcement of acceptable use policies, access authorization procedures, and validation of required information assurance training. The SkillBridge Participant will demonstrate the ability to properly prepare and review DD Form 2785 (System Authorization Access Request – SAAR) documentation in accordance with established access control and least-privilege principles. Additionally, the SkillBridge Participant will demonstrate supervised proficiency in monitoring system performance, supporting automation workflows, maintaining documentation accuracy, participating in inspection readiness preparation, and validating compliance-related records. The SkillBridge Participant will show measurable progression from direct supervision to supervised independent task execution with reduced prompting while maintaining accuracy, regulatory compliance, system integrity, and professional communication standards. Successful completion of this training program validates readiness to function in a structured technical support environment under supervisory oversight and demonstrates transferable competencies in troubleshooting, compliance enforcement, documentation control, system support, and operational accountability.
Serves in a supervised training capacity as an IT Specialist (Customer Support) within a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS) under the United States Military Entrance Processing Command (USMEPCOM). The participant receives structured exposure to technical support operations, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with workstation configuration and account management, supporting network and server monitoring activities, assisting with cybersecurity compliance enforcement, preparing system authorization documentation, coordinating technical issues with higher headquarters or vendor support, and supporting automation system functionality within a regulated Department of Defense operational environment.
