ABOUT THE JOB

A machinist is an energetic, quality-conscious individual with the desire to learn and work as a team. The person has the ability to work with and obtain tight tolerances on parts; checks own work with gauges, calipers and micrometers to document results; has knowledge on various machining processes including lathes, turning machines, CNC machines, and milling machines; possess strong 'shop math' skills; can read blueprints, and has good problem solving skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Operate various machining processes including lathes, turning machines, CNC machines, and milling machines

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must be a US citizen
• Ability to work with tight tolerances
• Knowledge of various machining processes
• Strong 'shop math' skills
• Ability to read blueprints
• Good problem-solving skills
• Subject to drug and alcohol tests
