This position reports directly to the Director of Operations of our FTNON team.

ABOUT THE JOB

QualificationsOn a given day you might find yourself driving with your company car to our customers facilities and working with 2 major responsibilities:1. Building & InstallingAssembling, wiring, and functionally testing control panels and systems from schematic drawings provided by engineering and direct by supervisorInstalling JBT control systems at the customer plantIdentifying areas of the customer facility where JBT could add value added technology and support.Developing a broad knowledge of the latest electrical control methods that best meet JBT systems and designs2. Maintaining and SupportingProviding technical support to JBT leased equipment to ensure that all equipment and electrical systems are functioning properly and is in good repairMaintaining and calibrating customer’s equipment and systems that are covered by a service/maintenance agreement to a high standard that ensures the equipment/system is operating correctly at all timesEnsuring that spare parts to support leased control systems, sold service contracts and labelers are available when required and usage is documentedDirecting all equipment and repair opportunities to the aftermarket business. The ChallengeTo thrive, you should have:2 years of Mechanical experienceGood experience with industrial motor controls, instrumentation and programming and editing PLC codeWilling to periodically work out of town, out of state, and overnight as required Here is how you can stand out:Electrical and/or Electronic technician work experience training Electrical circuitry training, PLC programming training, three years electrical experience and demonstrate previous mechanical abilityExperience in Controls EngineeringExperience in welding/Fabrication Education & Other RequirementsYou have a High School Diploma or GEDYou have a valid driver’s license

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assembling, wiring, and functionally testing control panels and systems from schematic drawings provided by engineering and directed by supervisor
• Installing JBT control systems at the customer plant
• Identifying areas of the customer facility where JBT could add value added technology and support
• Providing technical support to JBT leased equipment to ensure that all equipment and electrical systems are functioning properly and is in good repair
• Maintaining and calibrating customer’s equipment and systems that are covered by a service/maintenance agreement to a high standard that ensures the equipment/system is operating correctly at all times

QUALIFICATIONS

• 2 years of Mechanical experience
• Good experience with industrial motor controls, instrumentation and programming and editing PLC code
• Willing to periodically work out of town, out of state, and overnight as required
• Electrical and/or Electronic technician work experience training
• Electrical circuitry training, PLC programming training, three years electrical experience
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid driver’s license
