At Anytime Fitness, we're on the lookout for highly motivated Fitness Coaches who can deliver a positive fitness experience, top-notch personal and group training sessions, and ultimately contribute to member retention and acquisition. ABOUT THE JOB

Service and Train Members- Design and deliver comprehensive fitness programs tailored to clients' goals, encompassing exercise plans, diverse fitness options, nutrition guidance, and a holistic fitness approach.- Inform members about available fitness tools to aid in their progress.- Set clear expectations, hold clients accountable, and monitor their progress by setting goals and maintaining regular follow-up.- Demonstrate proper exercise techniques to clients, ensuring safety and effectiveness.- Be punctual, well-prepared, and enthusiastic for every training session and group class.- Achieve minimum productivity targets while providing excellent service to members.- Boost attendance at group training sessions by fostering strong connections with members of varying fitness levels.Service Members and Administration- Effectively onboard new members, offering professional recommendations for a smooth transition to a fitness lifestyle.- Instruct members on the correct use of equipment and exercise techniques.- Adhere to session schedules diligently.- Address member concerns or direct them to the appropriate club management.- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and well-maintained club, in line with our Clean, Friendly, and Well-Maintained Club promise.- Create, maintain, and regularly update client progress records, following company guidelines.- Schedule personal training sessions and other appointments efficiently using company systems.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proficiency in physical fitness principles and proper exercise techniques.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to operate and adjust fitness equipment.
  • Competence in delivering diverse exercise routines.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • CPR and AED Certifications received through in-person training are mandatory.
  • Degree in a related field or current certification through at least one nationally accredited industry association.
  • Specialized fitness credentials are preferred.
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs.
  • Physical effort required for daily duties, including weightlifting, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, jumping, kicking, and prolonged standing and walking.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities- Proficiency in physical fitness principles and proper exercise techniques.- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.- Ability to operate and adjust fitness equipment.- Competence in delivering diverse exercise routines.- Exceptional customer service skills.Minimum Educational Level/Certifications- High School Diploma or GED required.- CPR and AED Certifications received through in-person training are mandatory.- Degree in a related field or current certification through at least one nationally accredited industry association.- Specialized fitness credentials are preferredMinimum Work Experience and Qualifications- A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Personal Trainer or Fitness Coach.- Ability to lift 50 lbs.- Physical effort required for daily duties, including weightlifting, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, jumping, kicking, and prolonged standing and walking.
