ABOUT THE JOB

Job DescriptionWe’re seeking a mid-level Project Manager with strong networking experience to lead the planning, execution, and delivery of network-focused initiatives. 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁𝘀 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲:• LAN/WAN refreshes• SD-WAN rollouts• Wireless upgrades• Firewall migrations• Data center moves• Cloud network integrationsYou’ll collaborate closely with network engineering, operations, security teams, and vendors to ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget—while driving stakeholder alignment and mitigating risks.𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗥𝗲𝘀𝗽𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗲𝘀• Project Planning & Executiono Build and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, and resource allocations for multiple concurrent networking projects.o Define scope, deliverables, and success criteria; manage change control.o Run daily/weekly standups, checkpoints, and executive readouts.• Stakeholder & Vendor Managemento Facilitate cross-functional coordination among Network Engineering, Security, Infrastructure, and Field Services.o Manage vendor SOWs, deliverables, SLAs, and dependencies (e.g., carriers, hardware OEMs, managed service providers).• Risk, Issue & Dependency Managemento Identify, track, and mitigate risks; escalate blockers proactively.o Own RAID logs and maintain transparent status reporting.• Budget & Procuremento Track budgets, forecasts, and burn rates; assist with quotes, POs, and asset tracking for networking hardware/software (routers, switches, firewalls, APs, optics).• Documentation & Governanceo Maintain project artifacts (charter, plan, RACI, comms plan, decisions log).o Ensure compliance with change management (CAB), standards, and security policies.• Implementation Supporto Coordinate cutover planning, site readiness, pilot testing, and rollback plans.o Align implementation windows with business constraints and maintenance schedules.• Metrics & Reportingo Provide consistent status reporting to leadership; track KPIs, milestones, and quality gates.________________________________________𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱 𝗤𝘂𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀• 3–6 years of project management experience, including 2+ years delivering networking projects (e.g., SD-WAN, campus/Wi-Fi refresh, firewall migrations, data center networking).• Solid understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing & switching (OSPF/BGP, VLANs), NAT, ACLs, QoS, DNS/DHCP, VPN, wireless (802.11 standards), and network security basics.• Experience coordinating with network tools/platforms (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Aruba, Fortinet, Meraki, F5, Infoblox).• Proficiency with PM toolsets: MS Project or equivalent, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and ticketing/ITSM tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira).• Strong communication and stakeholder management; able to produce clear executive-level summaries and technical-ready documentation.• Demonstrated experience managing budgets, schedules, and vendors.𝗖𝗲𝗿𝘁𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 (𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱):• PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certification.• Networking certs (e.g., CCNA/CCNP, CompTIA Network+, PCNSA/PCNSE, Aruba ACMA/ACMP).• Experience with SD-WAN technologies (Cisco Viptela/Meraki, Fortinet, Aruba, Palo Alto).• Exposure to cloud networking (Azure/AWS VPC/VNET, routing, peering, security groups).• Experience with multi-site deployments, large-scale refreshes, or carrier circuit turn-ups.𝗠𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘆 𝗘𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝗳𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗱:• Candidates with military experience who are within 180 days of military separation are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Solid understanding of networking concepts: TCP/IP, routing & switching, NAT, ACLs, QoS, DNS/DHCP, VPN, wireless, and network security basics.
• Proficiency with PM toolsets: MS Project or equivalent, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams, and ITSM tools.
• PMP, CAPM, or PRINCE2 certification.
• Experience with SD-WAN technologies and cloud networking.
