The Production Technician SkillBridge program provides hands-on training across multiple manufacturing stations, including material preparation, molding, finishing, and assembly. Participants will develop proficiency in standardized manufacturing processes, maintain quality and safety standards, and contribute to efficient production flow. This program offers practical experience in equipment operation, quality control, and continuous improvement within a fast-paced production environment.
Participants in this SkillBridge program will be trained to support manufacturing operations in a helmet production environment. Training includes hands-on experience across multiple production stages, with increasing responsibility and independence over the course of the program.Key responsibilities and training areas include:• Material preparation, cutting, and layup processes• Compression molding and production equipment operation• Trimming, finishing, and secondary operations• Paint preparation and coating application• Final assembly of products with attention to fit and function• Quality control, defect identification, and first-pass yield standards• Understanding production flow, throughput, and efficiencyParticipants will follow a structured 12-week training plan beginning with safety and orientation, progressing through core production functions, and concluding with cross-training and independent operation.Training is delivered through hands-on, on-the-job learning led by experienced production managers, engineers, and station leads. Participants will be evaluated based on safety, quality, efficiency, and ability to perform tasks independently.Upon completion, participants will be qualified across multiple production stations and prepared for employment in manufacturing, production, or operations roles.
