ABOUT THE JOB

Hercules Hauling LLC is offering a hands-on SkillBridge internship for transitioning service members interested in logistics, CDL operations, equipment hauling, and small business management. As a participant, you will support day-to-day field and administrative operations of a growing, veteran-owned hauling company.Interns will gain valuable real-world experience in the hauling industry while learning key business functions such as route planning, customer service, equipment operation, safety protocols, and local contracting. Whether you're pursuing a CDL career, want to start your own business, or simply want to understand how logistics companies run, this opportunity will help you transition smoothly into the civilian workforce.This internship is unpaid through the DoD SkillBridge program, but high performers may be offered continued employment or partnership opportunities post-service.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Support day-to-day field and administrative operations of a growing, veteran-owned hauling company.
  • Gain valuable real-world experience in the hauling industry.
  • Learn key business functions such as route planning, customer service, equipment operation, and safety protocols.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must be an active-duty service member eligible to participate in the DoD SkillBridge program (within 180 days of separation or retirement).
  • Strong interest in logistics, trucking, hauling, or small business operations.
  • Comfortable working outdoors and around heavy equipment.
  • Valid state driver’s license required.
  • 2-year minimum CDL Class B.
  • Must be punctual, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a small team.
  • Must be able to lift 50+ lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.
  • Willingness to learn about local regulations, job site safety, and customer service expectations.
  • Desire to grow into post-service employment or entrepreneurship is a plus.
