We are seeking a motivated service member to provide Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) and In-Service Engineering (ISE) for the UK Tomahawk Weapon Control System (TWCS). The participant will assist in validating and updating technical manuals, in-service support plans, and provisioning parts lists. Responsibilities include supporting government leads in executing Fleet Maintenance Training, addressing obsolescence issues, and responding to in-service technical queries. The ideal candidate has experience with tactical/technical publications and Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETM). Successful participants will gain hands-on experience in defense contracting, systems engineering, and international program coordination.
MIKEL provides Undersea Warfare Solutions to the Department of Defense, specifically supporting the U.S. Navy. This SkillBridge opportunity places the service member within a dynamic team providing Fleet support and Configuration Management (CM) for the UK Submarine Tomahawk program. This includes documentation, engineering, and both distance and onsite technical support. The role is primarily based in Newport, RI, with some telework and travel required for working groups and training events.
