Intelligence Oversight and Policy SpecialistAmentum is seeking an Intelligence Oversight and Policy Specialist to join our team at Ft. Belvoir. This position ensures agency HQ and subordinate units remain in compliance with all laws, executive orders, DoD, military and service policies, directives and regulations for intelligence oversight (IO).

ABOUT THE JOB

Responsibilities:Mitigate compliance risks by identifying shortcomings and recommending courses of action and changes.Ensure all incidents of non-compliance are properly documented and provide guidance, and remediation, when necessary.Determine when additional unit IO training is required to mitigate increased potential for IO incidents during high-risk missions.Manage processes to verify all units comprehend and comply with rules regarding IO training and compliant access, use, and handling of data.Lead in a team environment with demonstrated experience in a range of security disciplines and excellent customer relations skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Must have an Active Top Secret with SCI eligibility US Government Clearance.
  • 8+ years of experience with Defense or national client operations.
  • Minimum 2 years of documented experience as an intelligence oversight officer.
  • BA or BS degree
  • Experience as an action officer or program manager at the CCMD/Wing/Bde equivalent level or higher.
  • Experience as intelligence oversight monitor (IOO) or intelligence oversight (IO) auditor/action officer.
  • Understands the core concepts of Intelligence Planning and how they support Joint Operations Planning (JOP) and the planning of intelligence operations.
  • Knowledge of AF/Joint Staff and national client enterprise, policy, structures, organizations, missions, and functions
  • Experience with the national intelligence community, Joint, and DoD structures, organizations, missions, and functions
  • Experience with National, Army or Air Force SIGINT or Cyber operations or policies.

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Minimum Qualifications: Must have a current Secret clearance and be eligible to obtain/maintain a Top-Secret with SCI clearance. Note: US Citizenship is required to maintain a Top-Secret.Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism, Engineering, or Computer Science with 4+ years of experience.Superb writing and editing skills with proven working experience in technical writing.Strong working knowledge of Adobe and Microsoft Office SuiteAbility to apply critical thinking skills to writing and communication.Very strong interpersonal and communication skills.Adept in translating technical information into digestible documentation for experts and non-technical audiences alike.Ability to write about technical facts and ideas in a clear, concise, and organized manner.Experience in document management to include creation, manipulation, and file management.
