ABOUT THE JOB

<p> <strong>SkillBridge Internship positions are all dependent on availability</strong>. New internship positions can be added depending on demand. Our 90-180 day internship program is led by industry experts teaching, coaching, and training participants in the practical application of skills learned during the program. Interns are exposed to employee training and career development as they work under close supervision of college staff.<strong>Possible Internship Opportunities with Polk State College: </strong></p><ul><strong><li>Finance</li> <li>Student Financial Aid</li><li>Student Services</li><li>Human Resources</li> <li>Marketing and Communication</li> <li>Athletics</li> <li>IT/Network Management</li></strong></ul

• Must be located in, or willing to relocate to, the College campus area (Winter Haven or surrounding area) for the duration of the program and beyond.
• Designed to serve as a direct pathway into employment within Higher Education.
• Not intended as a means to gain admission as a student.
