The Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Analyst is responsible for supporting the Headquarters' Marine Corps (HQMC) CIP Program. The program plays an integral role in achieving mission assurance (MA) and complements other HQMC programs concerning risk management, such as: Antiterrorism, Readiness, Information Assurance (IA), Continuity of Operations (COOP), Chemical, Biological, Radiological, and Nuclear Consequence Management (CBRN CM), and Installation Emergency Management. The CIP Analyst will support military and DOD civilian leaders in planning, organizing and coordinating CIP and MA program requirements. The CIP analyst develops briefings, reports, and guidance documents to support the identification and validation of critical assets. The SME may assist in reviewing military headquarters' plans, policies, and directives, to ensure compliance with DoD policies and directives. Support may also consist of developing white papers, position papers, and briefings.

Support may also consist of developing white papers, position papers, and briefings.Support development of risk decision plans (RDPs) for select task critical assets (TCAs) and associated infrastructureSupport critical asset identification process (CAIP) through coordinating with subordinate commands and developingSupport DoD customer in the usage of MCCAMSPrepare and make presentations on various topicsPrepare narrative reports, briefings, and products in support of the Marine Corps' CIP ProgramReview MAA reports for each installation in the MCI PAC and Ill MEF AOR and review equities and/or critical assets to understand risk to criticalassets and missions supported by those assetsReview readiness reporting in the Defense Readiness Reporting System Strategic (DRRS-S) and assist with the development of mission chains.Provide research and analysis in accordance with DoD MA and Marine Corps CIP policy and guidanceGenerate reports, briefs, and productsAttend MA/CIP working groups and integrated planning team (IPT) meetingsDevelop schedules, reports, plan of action and milestonesRespond to DoD and Service-wide t asks and provide logistical and program support on CIP related mattersDevelop and deliver briefings for internal and external consumption on CIP and MA topicsProvide CIP support to the Marine Corps mission assurance program and provide technical writing and review support of DoD reports andinformation papers.
