Our 12‑week SkillBridge Maintenance Training Program provides transitioning service members with hands‑on experience as Industrial Maintenance Generalists in a food manufacturing environment. Based at our Springdale, AR facility, participants will work alongside skilled technicians to learn equipment troubleshooting, preventative maintenance, safety practices, and foundational mechanical and electrical skills. Technical Aptitude - Hands‑on experience maintaining or repairing heavy machinery, industrial equipment, or vehicles - Familiarity with basic hand and power tools - Understanding of mechanical systems (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, gear systems, pumps) - Exposure to electrical concepts such as voltage, circuits, or motor controls - Ability to read or learn to read technical manuals, schematics, and equipment diagrams Physical Requirements - Ability to work in a manufacturing environment (e.g., noise, temperature variations, standing/walking for long periods) - Capability to lift, carry, or move equipment or parts as needed - Comfort working around moving machinery and production lines Work Environment & Behavioral Requirements - Commitment to following safety procedures in an industrial setting - Willingness to work in a hands‑on, team‑based maintenance environment - Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving mindset - Reliability, teachability, and ability to adapt to different equipment or plant layout
