Route Drivers - The Route Driver plays a key role in the sales process of Atlantic Coca-Cola Bottling Company products, making timely deliveries to various customer locations. This will include loading and unloading product to and from the truck, unpackaging and setting out product within the customer locations, adjusting point of sale displays, providing top notch customer service to our employees. This position requires constant traveling but will be based out of Atlantic, Iowa

ABOUT THE JOB

Through this program, Atlantic Bottling Company is seeking motivated Interns to work as a Route Driver and learn the skills for this profession. This position is located in Walcott, Iowa. The successful candidate will participate in a practical, structured, systematic program of on-the-job training and related instruction to develop existing military technical experience. This Internship will be 12-18 weeks long and can only commence within at least 120 days before leaving active-duty service. We can accommodate up to 180 days (6 months). Position will be located in Atlantic, Iowa.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Making timely deliveries to various customer locations
• Loading and unloading product to and from the truck
• Unpackaging and setting out product within the customer locations
• Adjusting point of sale displays
• Providing top-notch customer service to our employees

QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to drive a company-owned vehicle
• Subject to an assessment of the applicant's MVR (Motor Vehicle Record)
• Subject to a background check
• Obtain Class A CDL (Commercial Drivers License)

ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY

Because this position requires driving of a company owned vehicle, the applicant is subject to an assessment of the applicants MVR (Motor Vehicle Record). An applicant can have no more than two moving violations, and no major violations. This position also takes place primarily in our customer locations, because of this applicants are subject to a Background check. Prior to individuals being able to drive the delivery vehicles they will need to obtain their Class A CDL (Commercial Drivers License). We have a CDL Instructor on staff and can help applicants obtain their CDL. If we pay for the applicant to obtain their CDL they may be required to work for us for a period of time or be subjected to pay back for the CDL cost. Position will be based out of Atlantic, Iowa.
