The Semiconductor Equipment Technician SkillsBridge Intern program provides transitioning service members with immersive, hands-on experience in a high-volume semiconductor manufacturing environment. Participants will work alongside experienced technicians and engineers in a cleanroom fabrication facility, supporting the installation, maintenance, and optimization of advanced semiconductor equipment. This internship emphasizes real-world skill development through preventative maintenance activities, system monitoring, troubleshooting, and equipment calibration, while reinforcing strict adherence to safety, quality, and cleanroom protocols. Interns will gain exposure to complex manufacturing systems and learn how precision, process control, and uptime directly impact production performance.Throughout the program, interns will follow a structured training plan that combines on-the-job learning with mentorship and technical instruction. The SkillsBridge Intern – Semiconductor Equipment Technician will gain hands‑on experience supporting Micron’s advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment and operations. This internship is designed to help transitioning service members build industry‑relevant technical experience and prepare for potential full‑time opportunities at Micron following military separation.
