ABOUT THE JOB
Field Service Representative (FSRs). Interns with the requisite skill set will onboard as a normal employee with the intent to hire against a standard position. FSRs typically work within a specific geography and travel to a job site using a company issued vehicle (typically a truck) and perform duties with issued company tools. Some FSRs are performing maintenance checks in accordance with services contracts. Some FSRs are trouble shooting electrical issues as a part of a larger technical team; in this case the FSR is customer facing agent assessing issues. Sometimes clients need customized power distribution, switches and backup power that requires FSRs to assess physical space and ability to customize solutions.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Travel to job sites using company-issued vehicle to perform duties
- Perform maintenance checks in accordance with service contracts
- Troubleshoot electrical issues as part of a technical team
- Assess physical space for customized power distribution, switches, and backup power solutions
QUALIFICATIONS
- Electrical skills
- General construction aptitude
- Ability to customize solutions for power distribution and backup power
- Customer service skills as a customer-facing agent
ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY
Any other construction skill is a major plus. For example, HVAC and plumbing.
